NOMA

NOMA

Creation was totally free and their focus on an ecological conception sought to minimize the environmental impact of the products created by their designers. NOMA,“NOble MAterials”,  wants above all to promote the use of recycled materials through their designs.

NOMA believes that elegance means surrounding oneself with objects that are beautiful, virtuous, and responsible. They are convinced that beauty is a powerful vector of change, that today ’s economic models must be circular, and that each one of us has the right to know where and how every article has been made.

Founded in 2018 Paris, NOMA founders, Guillaume Galloy and Bruce Ribay, decided that their first priority in creating NOMA is to provide high-quality furniture with aesthetics, durability, comfort, and function. Their second priority is to concentrate on researching recycled materials, relying on the most mature, such as steel, while working to innovate with younger sectors, like compressed plastics.  They believe that today, recycled materials are the noblest.

Guillaume and Bruce both came from the luxury and green-design sectors, intend to change the outlook on recycled materials, which are a veritable treasure-trove for contemporary interiors. NOMA believes that elegance means surrounding oneself with objects that are beautiful, virtuous, and responsible. NOMA has a pact with consumers and with our planet. The house is committed, along with its suppliers, to constantly improving all elements that make up its raw materials. NOMA has thus taken a real road toward progress, integrating innovations that develop regularly in the green-design sector. In this way, its creators and designers continue to develop what they offer, so that environmental requirements remain at the cutting-edge of research. The comfort and sturdiness of NOMA’s furniture and objects mean sustainability since beauty determines a product’s durability. The recycled materials they use do not require energy for a second life or transportation, which keeps their environmental footprint clean. Transformed material thus becomes raw material.
