Instead of 4 seasons and 52 collections per year as fast fashion, Róu follows slow fashion system producing 2 seasons or seasonless styles. Róu transforms and repurposes the waste from fashion industry into better quality garments you would wear for years. Rou gives less stress for our planet by keeping their production in small runs and limited edition only and keeps the circular fashion system by rescuing and upcycling leftover materials.
Róu works with a well-developed factory that head office is based in Hong Kong and factory based in China for 32 years. They are certified with “Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP)”. The company has a professional and ethical team in the factory of about 200 people which is located in Shenzhen, China. Róu So are consciously sourcing and salvaging quality materials to turn into beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces made from what otherwise would be wasted and go straight to the landfill. Hence, giving the fabric a second life. Materials chosen are with the highest regard for sustainable practices and care. They seek out an inventory over-produced leftover fabric and trim waste from various vendors including manufacturers and fabric mills.
